Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Clinical Team Leader within the PIER team, an Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) service that supports individuals experiencing psychosis for the first time. The team has developed strategies to educate, support, and treat those open to the service, as well as support their families and carers.

The team consists of Psychology, Psychological therapies, Medical, Support, Admin, Nursing, and management staff, serving all of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. As a Clinical Team Leader, you will lead a team of up to 10 clinical staff, providing support and full line management responsibility, while also holding a small caseload of your own.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and take overall responsibility for care quality performance and clinical activity by providing professional nursing leadership and guidance.
  2. Provide clinical advice and management in relation to key dimensions of healthcare quality: patient safety, effectiveness of health care interventions, patient experience, and the environment in which care is delivered.
  3. Ensure the delivery of a clinically effective service that meets the needs of individuals, families, and communities in line with local and national development plans, Trust policies, and procedures.
  4. Coordinate services and promote optimum health, self-management, and effective liaison between agencies.
