Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Sous Chef to join our team. As Executive Head of Culinary Innovation, you will be responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality dishes throughout our operations. You will play a key role in menu development, working closely with our Head Chef, and assist in managing the overall kitchen operation, including prep schedules, stock control, budgeting, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Develop innovative menu ideas in collaboration with the Head Chef
  • Manage kitchen operations, including prep schedules, stock control, and maintenance
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to enhance their skills
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant
  • Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of produce
  • A highly creative approach to work with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a kitchen brigade
  • Experience scheduling and reviewing staff rotas

You will receive overtime pay and have access to 2 weeks' rota in advance to plan your life outside of work.

Your development is important to us. Within your first year, you'll have three reviews to discuss how we can support your growth and identify development opportunities.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
