Great wine should be accessible to all, and that's where we come in Our passion for wine has taken us from a little shop in Fulham back in 2010 to an Urban Winery at Battersea Power Station, 9 wine bars in London and 2 outside, each serving 100+ wines by the glass.

We're proud to say that we do some pretty serious (award-winning) winemaking ourselves at our Urban Winery in Battersea. We use minimum intervention and we're all about trying new things. All of our vineyards are within 2 hours of London, we harvest by hand, and then leave the grapes in the trusted hands of Jose our Winemaker.

When you visit, you'll find 100+ wines from around the world available for you to try with our unique self-pour wine machines. And when we say 'for you to try', we mean it. Tap with contactless and select a wine to sample as a taster or by the glass. Above each wine, you'll spot our shelf talkers with tasting notes to help guide your selection. Found your dream juice? Some of our venues not only serve beer but have their own self-serve craft beer walls. Each with their own unique selection, some new and some familiar, you choose So, come say hi and join us for a bit of tap & pour at the following Vagabond Wines venues: Birmingham, Paddington, Canary Wharf, Monument and Shoreditch.

**THE ROLE**:
Vagabond Supervisor will be supporting the management team in the daily operation of the shop with style and charisma. They will be driving standards and ensuring that all team members are being trainedappropriately and with loads of energy and enthusiasm. They will be the people’s person, filling the role of an agony aunt, high fiver, and standards checker. Basically, an all-round legend.

Health & Safety Purpose: To work closely with the General Manager to ensure health and safety systems and practices are adhered to throughout the venue through correct training and monitoring.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role in syntony with our values:

- Promote the importance of the Vagabond experience to employees
- Guide guests through the Vagabond experience by answering questions and offering help when needed
- Think as a radical and act as a disruptor in the wine industry to help Vagabond stand out from other wine bars in London
- Act as a brand ambassador and builds relationships and reputation in the surrounding area
- Build business reputation through local networking and events
- An inspiring open-minded manager unafraid to explore new experiences

- Opportunity:_
- Responsible for inducting new members of the team. Delivering their 2-week training checklist and being their “buddy”
- Support trial shifts and ensure that new potential employees are supported during this period
- Monitors best and worst sellers and ensures all team members are up to date with their knowledge of the products
- Look for new opportunities for innovation at Vagabond
- Seek out new and fun ways to reward the team members with competitions, not painting competitions or knitting, but competitions like who can sell the most wine you know?

- Deliver on all guest expectations whilst ensuring that the team delivers the same
- Oversees every stage of the in-venue customer journey to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction are delivered.
- Reviews and responds to guest feedback to identify when and why expectations have not been met.

- Ensure that the venue is set up, operates effectively, and is closed in line with operating procedures including the management of external security
- Maintaining all company standards to the highest level, including but not limited to atmosphere management, cleanliness, guest experience, and presentation of the store and team.
- Has some mad secret skillz up their sleeve, like walking on their hands up some stairs or eating 100 eclairs in under a minute and stuff
- Adhering to all company policies, ensuring that all employees follow safe working practices
- Assisting the management team with stock ordering, deliveries, and stock counts
