Job Title: Lead Speech and Language Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at a specialist school in Hackney, East London. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of speech and language therapy services to students with SEMH and Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of speech and language therapy programs for students with SEMH and Autism
  • Supervise and mentor Speech and Language Therapists and other therapy staff
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
  • Provide training and support to staff on speech and language therapy techniques and strategies

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience working with students with SEMH and Autism
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
