About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Compass Associates. As a Lead Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering specialized and evidence-based treatments to children with SEMH and Autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the delivery of universal care and therapy by core staff
  • Manage a small caseload of 1:1 therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Music Therapists, and Counsellors
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness
  • Provide training and support to core staff on speech and language therapy techniques
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • HCPC Registration
  • Experience working with children with SEMH and Autism
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
