About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Education Support Professional to join our team in Islington. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide individual and group support for students with learning needs, assisting teachers in delivering lessons and creating engaging activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group support for students with learning needs.
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and creating engaging activities.
  • Help students with assignments, exam prep, and overcoming academic challenges.
  • Encourage inclusion and help build students' confidence and independence.
  • Collaborate with specialists like speech therapists and educational psychologists.
  • Track student progress and provide valuable feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people.
  • A current Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
  • Strong communication skills, with a patient and caring approach.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
