We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Lead Speech and Language Therapist at a specialist school in Hackney, East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of speech and language therapy services to students with SEMH and Autism.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of speech and language therapy programs for students with SEMH and Autism
- Supervise and mentor Speech and Language Therapists and other staff members to ensure high-quality therapy services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Music Therapists, and Counsellors, to provide comprehensive support to students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students
- Provide training and support to staff members on speech and language therapy techniques and strategies
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field
- HCPC registration
- Experience working with students with SEMH and Autism
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,500 pro-rata, depending on experience and qualifications
