Experienced SEND Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Support Worker to support a non-verbal child with autism in a welcoming school environment in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The successful candidate will have experience supporting children with special educational needs and be able to provide one-to-one support to our pupil.
As an Experienced SEND Support Worker, you will work closely with the class teacher and other members of the teaching staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupil. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our school's SEND policy and practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to a non-verbal child with autism
- Work closely with the class teacher and other members of the teaching staff
- Contribute to the development of the school's SEND policy and practice
Salaries: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient and understanding approach
