**Job Title:** Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

**Location:** Scunthorpe

**Salary:** £37,500 - £42,000 per annum depending on experience

**Job Type:** Full Time, Permanent

**Working Hours:** 42.5 hours per week

Rainham Steel, a leading UK steel stockholder, requires an experienced mechanical engineer to work at our Scunthorpe depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Reporting to the operations manager
  • Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Fault finding and rectification
  • Periodic service and maintenance
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment conditions
  • Working with a variety of plant and equipment, including forklifts, side loaders, overhead cranes, saws, drills, shot blasters, and rebar processing machines
  • Flexible to do paid overtime when necessary
