SEND Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated support staff member to work with pupils aged 2-19 years in a dynamic school environment at Vision for Education - Bristol.
About the RoleThis full-time position requires an individual with experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will work closely with an established team to provide one-to-one or small group support.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting pupils with SEND in a classroom setting
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and implementation
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Experience working with children with SEND
- A caring and positive nature
- Ability to build strong relationships with children and young people
- Understanding of child safety protocols
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check and register with the Update Service
- Daily rates of £86-£130 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications
- Pension contributions (subject to a qualifying period)
