Job Title: Conflicts Specialist, Risk Management

Job Summary:

Carbon60 is seeking a highly skilled Carbon Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our carbon management and reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assessment and reviews for hybrid Bills and associated tasks, including Environment Statements, Petitioner responses, and Parliamentary Queries.
  • Assure that deliverables meet the project's carbon requirements through technical assessment and review.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain and colleagues to ensure project commitments relating to carbon emissions are delivered and timescales are met with value for money at the forefront of all decisions.
  • Support the Carbon Manager in the development and implementation of carbon management and reduction requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with technical specialists, non-technical project managers, and technical stakeholders.
  • Technically assess and review carbon management deliverables submitted by contractors.
  • Review parliamentary submissions as part of the hybrid Bill and petitioning process.

Requirements:

  • Experience of implementing carbon management and reduction principles within complex and medium to high-risk projects.
  • Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience of delivering successful outcomes with complex stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with subject matter experts relevant to the role, including contractors and consultants.
