**Project Manager Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Transport for Wales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering transport-related projects to improve transport services in line with Welsh Government transport policy and strategy.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering a range of transport-related projects by applying robust project lifecycle methodologies.
  • Providing a professional and effective project management service, including project governance, reporting, and technical working groups.
  • Managing the project budget and ensuring costs remain within the agreed budget.
  • Managing and leading project teams by collaborating with internal colleagues and external contractors, stakeholders, and supply chain.

**Requirements**

  • Relevant degree such as Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Project management qualification such as APM or PRINCE2 or similar.
  • Experience of the early-stage project delivery.
  • Proven experience of working on a variety of transport sector-related projects as a Project Manager.

**Language Skills**

The ability to speak/write Welsh would be an asset, but it is not essential for this role.
