Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Manager to join our team. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers to deliver person-centred care and support to individuals with a range of needs, including Epilepsy, Downs Syndrome, Verbal, Visual and Learning Difficulties, Autism, Bipolar, Dementia, and physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of experienced support workers to deliver 24-hour assistance to individuals with complex needs
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans to meet the unique needs of each individual
- Ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained at all times
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless care and support
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Requirements
- Registered Manager qualification and experience in a social care setting
- Upbeat and positive manner, with a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including those with behaviours that require intensive support planning and management
- Basic IT skills, with ability to learn and adapt to new systems
- Professional qualification in Health and Social Care, such as Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England)
