Purpose of Role:

As a qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring good outcomes for children and young people in need or at risk through the delivery of timely, high-quality social work services. This includes providing effective day-to-day management and social work support to Social Workers, including reflective supervision, direction, guidance, and decision-making in complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality social work services to children and young people in need or at risk.
• Manage and support a team of Social Workers, including reflective supervision, direction, guidance, and decision-making in complex cases.
• Ensure the highest standards of social work practice are provided to children and young people, managing performance via Hounslow policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the strategic policy and procedural developments within the Team, Service, and Specialist Services Division.
• Support the Team Manager in ensuring the highest professional standards of practice are evidenced through rigorous quality assurance processes in line with statutory guidelines.
