Job Title: Class 1 Night Driver
Location: Bathgate
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Night Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods to customers using a curtain-sided vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring load security.
- Delivering and collecting goods to customers.
- Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
- Using a handheld PDA to complete daily vehicle checks.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customer expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
Requirements:
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
What We Offer:
- Basic salary of £38,750pa (including night shift allowance).
- Overtime paid at an hourly rate.
- Rest day working paid.
- £70 every 5 years for HGV Medical.
- Attendance for CPC paid.
- Hours of work are Sunday – Thursday, start time 17:30hrs.
