Job Title: Class 1 Night Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 Night Driver to join our team at Gregory Group.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods to customers using a curtain-sided vehicle, ensuring load security and adhering to strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring load security and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Delivering and collecting goods to customers, using a curtain-sided vehicle and interacting with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Completing daily vehicle checks using a handheld PDA and maintaining regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress.
  • Attending regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Essential Skills:
  • Must hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service and working to deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player with good geographical knowledge.
  • Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
