Registered Homecare Manager

Halcyon Health & Social Care is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Homecare Manager to lead our new children's residential service in East Lancashire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, care provision, and regulatory compliance of our service.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders, including children, families, and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines relevant to children's residential services.
- Implement robust safeguarding policies and procedures to protect children from harm, abuse, or neglect.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies to provide high-quality care.
- Manage the service's budget effectively, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
- Knowledge of child development, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care.
- Commitment to promoting the rights and welfare of children and young people.
- A full UK driving license.
- Competitive salary of between £45-55,000 per annum, with opportunities for progression and development.

As a Registered Homecare Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the care provided to children is of high quality, person-centred, and tailored to meet individual needs. You will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans and interventions, making necessary adjustments as required.
We are looking for someone who is a strong leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective partnerships with other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders involved in the care and support of children.
