About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nursing professional to join our team as a Nursing Specialist in Gastroenterology. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level care to patients with gastroenterological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care using a flexible patient-centered care approach.
  • Assume responsibility for the management of a nursing team, providing advice, information, and support.
  • Act as a clinical expert, providing specialist knowledge and advice to nurses and junior medical staff.
  • Work towards safe and timely discharge plans, identifying and addressing barriers to discharge.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, actively involved in recruitment and staff development reviews.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based, individualized patient care.
  • Manage patient care according to agreed policies and protocols, taking appropriate action and seeking advice as necessary.
