About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse specialist to join our Rheumatology Department as a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist. The successful candidate will work with patients who are newly diagnosed on the Early Inflammatory Arthritis Pathway and those receiving biologic and high-cost therapies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patients receiving biologic and high-cost therapies
  • Run 3 independent nurse-led clinics per week
  • Provide clinical sessions for the nurse advice line
Requirements

Essential requirements include experience in a rheumatology setting and knowledge of biologic therapies. The successful candidate will also have the confidence to make complex clinical decisions in managing patient care. Non-medical prescribing is desirable but not essential.
