As a Staff Nurse with Brandon Trust, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our service users. Our approach is centered around each person's values, preferences, and needs, and we're looking for a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team.
As a key member of our nursing team, you'll be responsible for providing specialist nursing care and support to our service users. You'll work closely with our support workers to ensure that individuals receive the right amount of support at the right time, and you'll be involved in the day-to-day organisation of the work of the support team.
Our nursing home is a welcoming and friendly environment, and we offer a range of benefits to our staff, including sleep-ins paid at £60 extra, on-going training and career development, and a contributory pension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist nursing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities
- Work closely with the support team to ensure that individuals receive the right amount of support
- Be involved in the day-to-day organisation of the work of the support team
- Support individuals to achieve their personal outcomes in relation to managing their daily life
- Communicate effectively with other members of the team, families, and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Nursing qualification with current NMC registration (RNLD, RMN or RGN)
- Confident and calm under pressure
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
- Flexible and open to a challenge
- Ability to drive and use own transport on Brandon business (desirable)
