Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Health Professional Lead to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support workstreams as part of our EPR implementation Project.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Allied Health Professions and a proven track record of leading clinical workstreams. They will be responsible for driving continuous clinical process improvement in the AHP workforce, focused on patient outcomes and efficiency.

The Clinical Information Officer for Allied Health Professionals will work closely with the Chief Nursing Information Officer (CNIO) and the Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) to develop and implement digital solutions that support nursing, midwifery, and AHP practice.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills relating to IT systems. They will also have experience in MDT working and at 8a Level.

Main Duties of the Job

The Digital Health Professional Lead will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting workstreams as part of the EPR implementation Project
  • Driving continuous clinical process improvement in the AHP workforce
  • Developing clinical information that supports and enhances AHP practice and organisational efficiency
  • Working closely with the CNIO and CCIO to develop and implement digital solutions

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the national digital agenda and the What Good Looks Like (WGLL) Framework. They will also have experience in change management and service improvement.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant professional/clinical qualification (HCPC registered)
  • A first-level degree in a related healthcare discipline
  • A Master's degree relevant to the role or equivalent experience
  • Teaching/Mentorship qualification
  • Clinical Safety Officer Practitioner or willingness to undertake
