Estate Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estates Officer to join our team at York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management (LLP). As an Estates Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing a high standard of maintenance and repair services to support our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a comprehensive maintenance and installation service across the Trust's estates, ensuring a responsive, efficient, and financially effective service.
- Work as part of a team to provide a flexible and efficient service, covering a wide range of mechanical and electrical plant and equipment in varied locations.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of complex domestic water and Heating and Ventilation systems.
- Participate in an on-call rota to provide 24/7 support for urgent maintenance and repair issues.
- Work closely with other teams to ensure a seamless service delivery, including planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, and capital projects.
- ONC/HNC/HND in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role.
- Current valid UK driving licence.
- Technical knowledge across all disciplines and testing and maintenance procedures for electrical and mechanical services and equipment.
- Authorised Person (LV) desirable.
