Job Title: Estates Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Estates Maintenance Technician to join our team at York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management (LLP). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive maintenance and installation service across the Trust's estates, ensuring a high standard of service and compliance with current legislation.

The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of health care estates maintenance procedures, technical knowledge across all disciplines, and experience in testing and maintenance procedures for electrical and mechanical services and equipment.

The role will involve working as part of a team, providing a flexible and efficient service to cover a wide range of mechanical and electrical plant and equipment in varied locations. The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a comprehensive maintenance and installation service across the Trust's estates

  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge across all disciplines
  • Participate in the on-call rota and provide out-of-hours cover as required
