This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and organized individual to join our team as an Administration Clerk.

You will be working within the Traffic Enforcement Team, reviewing offences detected by speed cameras, making decisions according to pre-determined policies and criteria whether an offence should be processed, and thereafter ensuring that statutory notices are issued within the legal time limit.

Able to work efficiently in a team environment, strong communication skills, and ability to multitask and meet deadlines are essential requirements for this role.

We welcome applications from individuals who are comfortable working within an IT environment and fully conversant with applications such as Microsoft Word.

PNC and Athena access would be an advantage although training can be arranged if required.

The estimated salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time vacancies).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and administer various Police Officer issued offence notices.
  • Deal with large volumes of correspondence and telephone calls from members of the public, courts and colleagues within the wider Force.
  • Ensure statutory notices are issued within the legal time limit.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent
