FEA Analysis Consultant

We're seeking an accomplished FEA Analysis Consultant to join our team at Permanent Futures. As a senior member of our Engineering Team, you'll be responsible for conducting stress analysis and FEA work using ANSYS on rotating equipment under heavy component loading.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Carry out intricate analysis project work.
- Undertake various tasks (FEA, System Analysis, Rotor Dynamics) as required to support projects.
- Develop, validate, and maintain analysis procedures.
- Support manufacturing and purchasing concession requests.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers and the Tet Engineering Team.
- Evaluate and critique analytical and design proposals for product integrity.
- Provide customer-facing support as needed.
- Estimate detailed engineering analysis costs.
- Extensive knowledge of structural analysis techniques, including fatigue analysis for component certification.
- Expertise in FEA software and its applications.
- Able to critically review analysis work and correct where necessary.
- Familiarity with shafts, bearings, thermal response, noise and vibration, and tribology principles.
- Awareness of relevant industry standards and design protocols (ISO, AGMA, DIN, FKM, DNV).
- Able to perform complex hand calculations from first principles.
- Experience in rotor dynamic analysis.
The selected candidate can anticipate a salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, coupled with excellent benefits, including flexible working hours, private healthcare, pension scheme, additional paid holidays, and more.
