Senior Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Functional Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Functional Consultant to join our rapidly growing Consultancy Practice team. As a key member of our team, you will lead projects in collaboration with Project Managers, using your expertise to deliver high-quality and robust solutions. You will also support junior members of the team with their growth, confidence, and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deep technical working knowledge of Business Central modules and common ISVs
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Business Central product roadmap and peripheral technologies like Jet reports and Power Platform
  • Broad understanding of software development cycles, release management, data migrations, cut over plans, and post-go-live support
  • Deep understanding of the industry, preferably with specialization in high-demand sectors such as technology or finance and professional services
  • Proven ability to lead and manage client engagements, ensuring successful project delivery
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate business needs, logical thinking, and problem-solving to propose appropriate solutions
  • Help to direct projects in order they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations
  • Perform in-depth analysis of clients' business processes, workflows, and system requirements
  • Lead sprint planning and/or structure and prioritize work item backlogs in a logical and derisked approach to solution building
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for client teams to ensure effective adoption of new processes, technologies, and strategies
  • Negotiate project deliverables and agreements with Customers to ensure projects are financially and technically feasible
  • Direct line management of one or more junior functional consultants to support their growth and development
  • Mentoring of other colleagues from the wider business
