Job Title: HR Generalist

At First Base, we are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance on all aspects of people management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the delivery of a valued and trusted generalist HR function.
  • Provide advice and guidance on people management to both managers and teams.
  • Oversee HR administration, including processing payrolls and maintaining accurate personnel documentation.
  • Chair and minute meetings, such as disciplinary and grievance hearings.
  • Implement changes and new processes to create working efficiencies.

Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the cost of living in the region.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Generalist knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Excellent communication skills.
