Assistant Store Manager Job Description

At Bird & Blend Tea Co., we're seeking an exceptional Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you'll be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience, leading and developing our store staff, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customers have a memorable and enjoyable experience in our stores.
  • Lead and develop our store staff, providing coaching and feedback to enhance individual and store performance.
  • Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, inducting, training, and developing a high-performing team that fosters a positive store environment.
  • Work together with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and KPIs, implementing strategies to boost sales growth and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff rotas, and stock management.
  • Lead and host store and local events to make them enjoyable and memorable for our customers.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a management role or similar within a customer service environment.
  • Proven track record of effective selling skills and the ability to drive commercial outcomes.
  • Flexible availability, with the ability to adapt to different days and times, including weekends and some evenings.
