Job Description: Mental Health Hospital Therapist Manager

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Mental Health Hospital Therapist Manager to lead our occupational therapy team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to our patients.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and develop their team, and have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Programs: Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive occupational therapy programs tailored to the needs of mental health patients and care home residents.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Oversee the supervision, training, and professional development of occupational therapy staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of KPIs for occupational therapy and quality checks to maintain high standards of care.
  • Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patient needs and work to enhance patient independence and quality of life.
Requirements:
  • Qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist.
  • At least 2 years post-qualifying experience.
  • Substantial experience of working within Mental Health and Adult Care.
