Mental Health Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join our team at Nightingale Hospital London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy interventions to patients in our General Psychiatry inpatient service. You will work collaboratively with patients to identify and select appropriate specialist intervention plans, aiming to achieve therapeutic goals and maximize functional ability and wellbeing.
- Providing occupational therapy assessments and interventions as part of inpatient care.
- Working closely with other staff in the therapy department and hospital-wide to provide advice and support to therapists, ward staff, and consultant psychiatrists.
- Developing links with local resources to sustain patient recovery and facilitate timely discharge.
Key Requirements:
- BSc or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
