Job Title: Mental Health Occupational Therapist Specialist

Salary: £43,141 - £72,619 per annum

Location: Redbridge, London

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Mental Health Occupational Therapist Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals who have complex mental health needs and to make a positive impact on their lives.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have significant experience of working with people with acute mental health needs and will be able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate aspects of care. They will also have experience of using MOHO and OT ADL assessments and group work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake comprehensive assessments of health and social needs together with the service users and implement a plan of care and intervention to meet these needs
  • To ensure carers and family are included and supported in care planning
  • To facilitate and implement the Trust and Local Authority requirements in relation to safeguarding children and guidance legislation within the Care Act 2014

Person Specification:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist who has:

  • A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Evidence of post-registration training and continued CPD
  • Significant experience of working with people with complex mental health needs

Benefits:

This role attracts a High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary, which equates to a minimum payment of £6,520.53 and a maximum payment of £10,848.90 per annum.
