About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who require additional support due to severe learning disabilities, profound and multiple learning disabilities, and autistic spectrum disorders. You will be part of a dedicated team that provides individualized support to help students achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide learning support to individuals and groups
- Support teaching staff in the classroom
- Develop and implement strategies to support student learning
- Maintain accurate records of student progress
Requirements
- A strong understanding of special educational needs
- Experience working with students with severe learning disabilities, profound and multiple learning disabilities, and autistic spectrum disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient and empathetic approach
