Senior Lecturer (Chartered Forensic Psychologist)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Forensic Psychologist to join our team as a Senior Lecturer. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of our BPS accredited MSc Forensic and Investigative Psychology course, as well as teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The Role

The Senior Lecturer will support the current course director of the BPS accredited MSc Forensic and Investigative Psychology course, Stage 1, and contribute to teaching across both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. This will involve delivering taught modules, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate student projects, and engaging in scholarly and research activity.

The Person

We are looking for a BPS Chartered Forensic Psychologist with relevant and current experience in teaching and research. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of scholarly and research activity, as well as experience of teaching in the University sector. The role is part-time, and the successful candidate will be expected to be available for on-campus activities on Thursdays, particularly during term time and for recruitment events.

Requirements
  • BPS Chartered Forensic Psychologist
  • Relevant and current experience in teaching and research
  • Strong track record of scholarly and research activity
  • Experience of teaching in the University sector
