Senior Lecturer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Psychologist to join our team as a Lecturer. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of our BPS accredited MSc Forensic and Investigative Psychology course, as well as other undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
About the RoleThe Lecturer will be responsible for teaching and supervising students, as well as engaging in scholarly and research activity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forensic psychology, with experience of teaching in the university sector. A PhD is not required, but relevant experience and a BPS Chartered Forensic Psychologist status are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the delivery of the BPS accredited MSc Forensic and Investigative Psychology course
- Teach and supervise students on undergraduate and postgraduate courses
- Engage in scholarly and research activity, including writing for academic publication
- Support the course director in the management of the MSc Forensic and Investigative Psychology course
The successful candidate will be a BPS Chartered Forensic Psychologist with relevant experience and a strong teaching background. They will also be able to demonstrate a commitment to scholarly and research activity, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
