Job Description:
A dedicated team committed to providing a tailored, supportive, and inclusive education for pupils with special educational needs. Our school is OFSTED Outstanding and has a reputation for excellence in SEN education.
This role requires a qualified teacher with experience working in SEN settings, particularly those with experience teaching pupils on the autistic spectrum. Knowledge of autism-specific teaching strategies and approaches, including sensory and communication support, is essential.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of sixth-form pupils.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience.
- Maintain open communication with families, carers, and external agencies to provide ongoing support.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum content that meets the unique needs of pupils on the autistic spectrum.
Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £62,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
