Construction Project Manager

Bell Contracts & Co Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our team in Northern Ireland. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for analyzing construction drawings and specifications to identify labour, material, and specialist requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze construction drawings and specifications to identify labour, material, and specialist requirements
- Prepare enquiry documents, source and obtain material and subcontractor quotations, including final negotiations and orders
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure budgets are not exceeded
- Complete monthly subcontractor valuations through to final account
- Complete monthly valuations to PQS and record all additional works items
- Liaise with clients to agree rates/variations and cost analysis
- Measure works as per contract specific schedule of rates
- Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts within agreed timescales
- Work closely with Management and Accounts to ensure accurate and vigorous cost management of the project to deliver a profitable outcome
- Provide accurate and robust monthly reports for Management and Client Progress Meetings
- Attend and participate in Site Progress Meetings
- Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or related disciplines
- Applicants with HND/HNC or strong construction-related experience will also be considered for the role
- Experience in Estimating/Quantity Surveying role within a Main Contracting organisation for at least 2 years
- Be articulate, pro-active with excellent commercial acumen and communication skills and comfortable working with minimum supervision
- Be able to demonstrate initiative whilst working in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project
- Access to a company vehicle
- A full Health Care Package
