We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of personal care to residents, ensuring their independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
Job Description:As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care to residents, including assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and using the toilet
- Recognising and responding to clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and signs of infection
- Acting with courtesy and respect towards residents and their visitors, maintaining their dignity and individuality
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. You should also be able to work efficiently, carry out instructions from colleagues, and be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
