About Us

Home Instead is a leading provider of home care services, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our clients. As a Care Companion for Overnight Shifts, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.

No prior experience is necessary, as full training is provided. However, having experience in a care setting or interacting with older people would be beneficial. We encourage applications from all sections of the community, as we strive to reflect the diversity of the neighborhoods we serve.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of a Care Companion for Overnight Shifts include:

  • Providing companionship and support to clients during overnight shifts
  • Frequently checking on clients throughout the night to ensure their needs are met
  • Assisting with personal care, such as helping with medication and other daily needs

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, have excellent communication skills, and be able to build strong relationships with clients and their families.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £9.50-10.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits. Additionally, we will cover the cost of a DBS enhanced disclosure, and we ask that you live within a 5-mile radius of the Southport and Formby area.
