We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (equivalent to Band 5) to join our supportive team at Holybourne Hospital on a fixed-term contract. Located in Roehampton, this Adult Mental Health hospital caters to people with severe and complex mental health conditions.

The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting individuals aged 18 and above who may be admitted informally or detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007). We also accept patients requiring detoxification from alcohol or drugs or those under a revoked Community Treatment Order (CTO).

Job Responsibilities
  • Contribute occupational therapy expertise to ensure outstanding assessment, care planning, and support for patients.
  • Develop and deliver individual and group occupational therapy programmes.
  • Provide management and leadership of staff in delivering Occupational Therapy interventions.
  • Assist with training care staff and others in occupational therapy principles.
  • Share information and collaborate with the hospital's therapy team.
  • Maintain records and contribute to high-quality management information across the hospital.
  • Build good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, carers, and multi-disciplinary team members.
Requirements
  • Hold current registration with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Possess a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Have experience working within a mental health inpatient setting.
  • Undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
