Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Product Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving category growth, ensuring profitability, and managing supplier relationships within the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective product development strategies that align with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure optimal pricing and terms with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive category performance and improve sales and profitability.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, analyze data, and generate actionable insights to inform product development decisions.
Requirements:
  • Ideally hold a degree in Business, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, procurement, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software/tools.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
