Job Overview

We are Hestia Housing Support, a leading provider of Domestic Abuse support and other services. Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence.

This role offers a unique opportunity to join our team as an Area Manager on an interim basis, providing support during a period of change in our Domestic Abuse Services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of our community-based services, including mobilising and demobilising contracts. This will involve working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage and deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of our service users.
  • To contribute to the development of our organisational strategy and annual planning processes.
  • To develop and implement area plans that align with our organisational aims and values.
  • To identify and implement opportunities to improve service delivery and achieve required outcomes.
  • To ensure services use our policies, procedures, and processes to achieve objectives.
  • To work with our New Business and Development Team to identify new business opportunities and inform tender submissions.

About You:

  • You will have a proven track record of success in leading and delivering recovery and trauma-informed services in a dispersed organisation.
  • You will possess significant experience of managing operational teams, monitoring, and improving operational performance.
  • You will have experience of successfully designing and implementing organisational change and service reconfiguration.
  • You will be passionate about the cause and able to inspire and motivate operational staff to achieve our vision.
  • You will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop, motivate, and empower staff.
  • You will be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to think strategically and horizon-scan.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Flexible, with regular travel to multiple sites.
