About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team at Hafan y Mor Haven. As a key member of our Food & Beverage Shift Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants' kitchens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, adhering to standard operating procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for all.
  • Assist in delivering performance targets against budget, manage stock, margin, and cost control.
  • Complete relevant administrative tasks, such as Safety and Legislative compliance checks.
  • Lead and coach the team to ensure they work productively.
  • Engage and inspire the team to always be Guest-obsessed.
  • This is a hands-on role where you will lead from the front, cooking 85% of your time, while also managing kitchen standards on health, safety, and hygiene.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced Kitchen or similar environment.
  • Experience in managing operations, performance, resources, and cost control.
  • Confidently deal with Guest concerns and resolve problems.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong decision-making ability.
