Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Workforce Planning and Governance to lead and coordinate all aspects of Human Resources, Finance, and Governance functions on behalf of the Council for Catholic Maintained Schools (CCMS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a range of internal and school-facing services to support delivery of the Programme for Government, the Department of Education's Corporate Plan, and the Council's Corporate and Business Plans.
  • Lead and coordinate Human Resources, Finance, and Governance functions, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of services.
  • Provide strategic leadership to achieve challenging targets and objectives, ensuring alignment with the Council's vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to develop and implement effective workforce planning and governance strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, and maintain high standards of governance and risk management.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent third-level qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of three years' experience at a senior level in an organization or service/function within an organization of significant size.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams, with a focus on strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
