Salary: £35,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to support our Engineering Manager and Shift Skills Development Managers in providing round-the-clock response to mechanical and electrical breakdowns within our production areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, be qualified to HNC level, and possess a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Diagnose and recommend improvements to existing and future manufacturing equipment and site facilities
  • Carry out regular and recorded equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Assist in training other Maintenance Engineers and Production Operatives in areas where expertise is greater
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
