Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing routine nursing services, including immunisations, smear testing, and B12 injections
- Managing long-term conditions, such as diabetes and COPD
- Assisting with cytology and urinalysis
- Working effectively as part of an integrated multi-skilled team
- Maintaining accurate records and participating in administrative systems
Manchester Road Surgery is a forward-thinking practice serving 3600 patients. We are committed to providing high-quality care and are looking for a similarly motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.
Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and The Scope of Professional Practice
- Experience of working as a Practice Nurse in a primary care setting
- Experience of dealing with the public/patients
- Experience of long-term condition management, diabetes, COPD, and asthma
