Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing routine nursing care to patients, including immunisations, smear testing, and managing long-term conditions.
- Working effectively as part of an integrated multi-skilled team to deliver patient-centered care.
- Assisting in the management of patient records and maintaining accurate records.
- Participating in administrative systems and contributing to the smooth operation of the practice.
- Attending and participating in practice meetings as required.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Experience of working in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and The Scope of Professional Practice.
- Experience of working as a Practice Nurse in a primary care setting.
- Experience of dealing with the public/patients.
- Experience of long-term condition management, including Diabetes, COPD, and Asthma.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A current NMC registration.
- Registered General Nurse, recognised qualification to diploma level or above.
- A demonstrable commitment to continued professional development.
- Cervical cytology training/qualification.
- Child immunisation training/qualification.
