Mechanical Integrity Engineer

Kerry Group plc's Taste & Nutrition Manufacturing facility in Runcorn is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Integrity Engineer to join its engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance of assets to maximize plant availability and maintain production.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out risk assessments and implementing controls to minimize risks to acceptable levels.
- Locking off dangerous machinery immediately or repairing and notifying.
- Resolving breakdowns, carrying out PM's and working on project/improvement works with a view to minimizing production downtime.
- Fully completing PM sheets with all observations, jobs completed and recommendations and filing with the Maintenance Planner.
The ideal candidate will have a mechanical biased background with proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as skills in maintaining single-phase and three-phase motors, pumps, and weighing systems. Experience with SAP is an advantage.
A flexible and positive 'can-do' attitude is required, along with expertise in fault finding within electrical systems and experience with Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement.
