Senior Electronic Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronic Systems Engineer to join our Product Development Team at Epredia. This is a critical role that requires expertise in designing and implementing high-quality scientific instruments, including embedded systems, sensors, and actuators.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of hardware projects for new scientific instruments, leveraging diverse technologies such as ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, FPGAs, and sensor integration.
- Design and implement test solutions for printed circuit boards (PCBAs) and instruments, utilizing JTAG, LabVIEW/National Instruments, or other automated systems.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, protocols, and reports for verification testing of new designs, ensuring compliance with technical reviews and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical Design and Software Development, to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to bring products to market and drive engineering projects to successful completion.
- Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with hardware implementation of ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, such as STM32 and NXP LPC, along with proficiency in C/C++ programming for board bring-up.
- Expertise in EMC testing and investigation, with radio certification experience being a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with digital design using Lattice or Intel FPGAs, with VHDL/Verilog knowledge preferred but not essential.
- Able to travel occasionally within the UK and globally.
