Key Responsibilities for a Senior Maintenance Technician
  • Perform routine preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Electrically; System testing, field wiring, system calibration, interpreting circuit diagrams
  • Knowledge of automated, electrical and pneumatics machinery
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • CMMS use
  • Service and repair of equipment on site
  • Adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines
  • Willing to learn and adapt to role requirements.
  • Hands on ownership of issues
Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a Senior Maintenance Technician
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification Electrical/Mechanical & Pneumatic Qualification
  • Technical department experience especially in maintenance
  • Experience with working on automated conveyor systems
  • Confidently read schematic diagrams
  • A solid understanding of Health and Safety policies
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical/pneumatic equipment
  • Excellent understanding of automated equipment and controls
  • Both Electrical and Mechanical skills
  • Root cause analysis skill
  • Experience with Siemens S7 Tia portal would be an advantage
  • Experience of managing a technical team
