Job Overview: CLD Recruitment (Leeds) Ltd is seeking an experienced Financial Administrator to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial processes, preparing and sending bills, and contributing to the firm's financial strategy.

About the Position:
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum. The successful candidate will work closely with fee earners, partners, and other teams to manage financial processes, analyse reports, and prepare progress reports. They will also be responsible for liaising with third parties and working with the Credit Controller to progress financial management of files.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage financial processes within the team
- Prepare and send bills to clients
- Create and maintain billing schedules and record keeping
- Liaise with colleagues, managers, fee earners, partners, and other teams regarding team financial matters
- Analyse reports from the firm's finance system to identify actions needed for effective financial management
- Attend financial meetings with fee earners to provide support with financial management of workload
- Liaise with third parties associated with the billing process
- Work with the Credit Controller and other support colleagues to progress financial management of files
- Proactively manage payment of bills and resolve billing queries within the team
- Prepare and submit progress reports to partners and heads of department

Requirements:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working in a professional services organisation with financial deadlines
- Strong relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Ownership of processes and accountability for work performed
